    I was very hesitant in purchasing this figure till Amazon made an offer I couldn't refuse about a week before Christmas. This figure and shipping for less than most merchants would charge for the shipping alone! It has been undeservedly maligned in many reviews for having a generic head that doesn't much resemble Heath Ledger. This of course cut demand and price. Upclose and in hand there is a strong resemblance to the Heath Ledger Joker with regard to various angles and short movie clips which is probably all Hot Toys had to work with at the time. The clothing detail,the socks,the shirt,the accessories are all exquisite. This is a work of art and surely a collector's item that will grow in value. It's limited. Pick it up while you can. You won't be disappointed, I'm not. Thank you Amazon!

    Although this is a toy from Hot Toys, it is not a hot toy. The Policeman [DX] version is the Joker action figure to own, due to the accuracy of the head sculpture. You could purchase the Bank Robber version and use the spare head from that package on this action figure. As thats about all its good for. Hot Toys should re-issue the two other versions or better still a few more to create a broader Joker series as there is still high demand for the Dark Knight Joker.

    If you don't mind spending a little more for a LOT more quality, then check out the DX version before buying this one. It is ok, to say the least, but it was developed before the movie was released and the artists had limited photos to work with. Since I already owned this when I got the DX, I salvaged the body and used it for the police uniform Joker.

    One thing that i would like to point out is that Hot Toys made this figure before the film was released so they had very limited photos to work with,as a result if you compare The DX01 Joker and this one the head sculpt is very different and the DX01 sculpt is way more accurate.still it is a very good figure since the Bank Robber and the DX01 are sold out and are available at very high costs,so if you have enough money , go for the Bank Robber or the DX01 instead of this one.
